Membership

Membership in the South Carolina Scholastic Press Association is open to any middle or high school school media staff across the state, including broadcast, literary-arts magazine, newsprint, online, podcast, and yearbook publications. 

We’re excited to announce that, thanks to the generous support of the University of South Carolina College of Information and Communications, SCSPA membership is now free for all student media programs in South Carolina! 

To be an active member for the 2025–26 school year, please complete the membership form. You’ll also have the opportunity to indicate any events, services, or competitions your program would like to participate in. 

Membership is per media program and valid for the full academic year.
